Kate moved we adopt minutes from the Oct/16meeting. Jason seconded. All in favour. Carried

Executive Reports

  1. Chairperson Report

Distribution of Cookies- went well

Need 9 volunteers (there were 3 members and 6 interns that helped out)

Cost $620.00

Total $3798.73 (not including deduction of cookies)

Jason looking into getting the fees sent over this week.

Adoption of Treasurer’s Report (motion to accept/change)

Lana moved we adopt the treasurer’s Oct/16 reports. Kate seconded. All in favour. Carried.

  1. SRC Report

Food Drive- Price balance challenges

Nov 17 – Pep rally with challenges being done

No shave November teachers/ kids

Nov 30 black out dance (7 to 10)

Nov 9- remembrance day (2 sessions to accommodate kids)

Triple 8 Growth reporting and have struggles with accurate collections of data.

RPS Overall 74% grad

Stretch goal is 80% for RPS

700 kids attending pep rally for soccer

PD day Nov 10

PD day Dec 2 non scheduled

GRAD- collection of data from kids by end of week (Nov 14 next parent meeting)

  • Carnival Games- McNeil has been approached for coordination/tabled from last meeting
  • Asked to continue to offer to feeder schools
  • Oct 27 -Westhill Baptist church rented and have been invoiced
  • Grant Funding
  • Science Fair applied for $1083.38 granting $783.38- this round will apply for rest in spring
  • Vocal Jazz $1760 for speakers- full funding
  • Total funding - $2543.38
  • Black Out Dance Nov 30
  • Snow cone machine- Jason has
  • Pop
  • Popcorn- School machine (Zacharis looks after)
  • Kate will help volunteers( Rhonda, Lana, Leahann, Shannon (maybe) organize
