UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) will be organising a ‘table-top’ exhibition for UK providers of all types of healthcare services, to be held at the British Ambassador’s Residence in the heart of Austria’s capital, Vienna.
This will be an excellent opportunity for UK companies to meet approximately 100 distributors / agents / executives from Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries to develop business in this rapidly growing sector.
We anticipate delegates from 10 countries will attend from:

PARTICIPATION
If selected, the participation fee for each UK company is £780 (excluding VAT) paid via your local UKTI International Trade Team. You should also factor in costs associated with travel to/from Vienna and any additional hotel nights not covered below.
The offer includes:
- List of CEE delegate details in advance of your confirmed attendance
- A stand (table and chairs) for promotional material/short demos
- Free WiFi during the two day event
- Refreshments over the two days (morning/afternoon and lunch)
- Networking Reception at the Ambassador’s Residence
- Company profile in event brochure – circulated across Europe in advance of event
- Marketing/pre-publicity of event to CEE network
- Opportunity to present your company in a separate seminar room
MARKETING
Prior to the event UKTI will produce an event brochure (approx. 1,000 copies) with company profiles and representatives’ names (participants are requested to supply 100-word company description, contact details and company logo) The brochure will be mailed to all business contacts in the CEE countries prior to the event to alert them to your visit to Vienna.
SELECTION OF UK COMPANIES
The selection of UK participants will be made solely by UKTI officials in the participating CEE countries. Their decisions will be based on:
- Whether they can match the UK companies’ expertise with the requirements of their selected buyers/delegates in their respective markets.
- The information that you provide on your Expression-of-Interest (EoI) form below.
- Background information on your website
- Ensuring that there is a good spread of UK companies from across all areas of healthcare – medical devices, laboratory equipment, hygiene, medical technology, scientific instruments etc.
IF YOU ARE SELECTED – WHAT TO DO
You will be provided with contact details of your local UKTI International Trade Team to arrange payment of your participation fee of £780*.
You will be sent a registration form to capture more specific details (e.g.for hotel booking) and other essential information.
*Should you cancel your attendance within 2 weeks prior to the event, UKTI has the right to retain your £780 participation fee. This is due to the marketing activity that will have been carried out on your behalf by our offices in the CEE countries to promote your attendance.
