Furnish and install AERCO Vertical Storage Tank as shown on plans in accordance with all codes and authorities having jurisdiction. The Storage tank shall have a storage capacity of ______gallons/______diameter.

Storage tank shall be constructed in accordance with ASME Section IV, Part HLW for a working pressure not less than 125 psig (30” or larger models); 150 psig (24”/28” models). 119 gallon model may be specified as Non-code.

The tank shall be lined with porcelain enamel (glass) with maximum operating temperature not less than 180ºF. The tank shall include 25 grams of magnesium anode per square foot surface area.

The storage tank shall be one of the following types:

____ Accumulator Storage Tank (210/340/505 gallons) – shall be supplied with 1” NPT thermometer connection.

____ Stratified Storage Tank (210/340/505 gallons) – shall be supplied with 1” NPT thermometer connection; shall be supplied with a dispersion tube or baffle at the cold water inlet to achieve a thermal boundary layer; dispersion tube is supplied on models with threaded cold water inlet connection and a baffle is supplied on models with flanged connection.

____ Standard Storage Tank – dispersion tube optional for 30” diameter or larger.

Optional Construction:

____ Double Glass Lining (10-yr warranty) – available for 30” or larger models

____ 150 psi working pressure

Optional Insulation:

____ High-density spray polyurethane foam rigid insulation (2.25” thick, R-16) with two coats of water proof 100% acrylic topcoat – available for 30” or larger models

____ High density foam insulation (2” thick; R-12.5) with sturdy, heavy gauge steel jacket.

The storage tank shall carry a limited warranty that covers both the glass liner and tank for leakage or other malfunction caused by defects in materials and/or workmanship. This limited warranty runs from date of installation (or without proof of installation, from three (3) months after the date of manufacture) for a period of:

5 years (Standard Construction)

10 years (Double Glass lining Construction)
