VENDORS & CONTRACTORS

  • Contractors must be licensed and insured. Current Evidence of Insurance with proof of a minimum of

$1 million coverage must be on file with our office prior to starting work.ALL CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO PROCURE AND POST PROPER PERMITS FOR EACH JOBSITE.

  • Please park your vehicles in GUESTmarked spaces only.Company vehicles, trailers and mobile storage units are strictly prohibited from remaining on the property overnight.
  • Please CLEAN your work area and surrounding areas EVERY DAY before you leave. This includes doors, breezeways and stairs leading to your work area.
  • You are responsible for all keys issued to you. All keys must be returned to the office each night before the office closes.
  • Vendors and Contractors are not allowedbehind the office desks, nor in other back areas, including the maintenance office and shed, unless invited and escorted.
  • Work times: you are only allowed to work between the hours of 9am and 5pm at Sanibel Moorings and all work must comply with the City of Sanibel noise ordinances. No work shall be done on Sundays.
  • You are required to sign in at the office for each and every unit you plan to enter upon your arrival at Sanibel Moorings. If you are issued a key, you must return it at the end of each day. A master key will not be given to contractors.
  • Please DO NOT use Sanibel Mooringsguest luggage wagons (green carts) at any time.
  • Only garbage is allowed in the Sanibel Moorings dumpsters- no carpet, cabinets, furniture, or renovation debris is allowed unless pre-approved by the manager on a case-by-case basis. Please remove all other debris from our property.
  • Please DO NOT dump or disperse any hazardous products in our garden or on our grounds.
  • DO NOT clean your work materials in our garden or on our grounds.
  • No work materials or items removed from units shall be left for any amount of time in the breezeways, walkways or at any unit doors. No saw cutting shall be allowed within 10 feet of unit doors or walkways.
  • Noise should be kept to a minimum at all times and 48-hour prior notice and permission from Sanibel Moorings should be sought in the case that any major drilling or jackhammering will occur on the property.
  • Music should not be audible more than 3 feet from the source.
  • Rope off any safety hazard areas properly. You are responsible for unsafe areas.
  • Smoking is not allowed anywhere on Sanibel Moorings property.
  • The use of the pool, pool facilities, and all other Sanibel Moorings amenities by contractors is strictly prohibited.
  • All contractor’s employees and representatives shall behave in a respectful, professional manner at all times while at Sanibel Moorings.
  • These rules apply to the contractor’s employees, sub-contractor’ employees and any representative or guest of the contractor.

Any cost that Sanibel Moorings incurs due to your negligence will be billed to you and/or your company.
