1.2 Realign undergraduate and graduate programs to mirror national standards in accordance with national professional standards to assure accreditation with CCNE. / 100% of nursing program will be realigned, approved and implemented by Fall 2012 / COGS/COUS

2.2 Recruit and retain diverse, qualified faculty and students. Each academic department will develop and implement in collaboration with the deans a recruitment and retention program that includes orientation and mentorship / By Spring 2012. / Department Chairs/Associate Deans

2.5 Collaborate with regional health partners in the development of a centralized clinical placement system for undergraduate students to enhance learning experiences in the clinical environment. / In place by Fall 2012 / Associate Dean for Undergraduate
2.6Build on current community partnership model/relationships to facilitate ease of placements for %100 of our students into clinical learning experiences. Related schools will have a group Liaisons from the San Antonio health communication structure. / By 2010. / Associate Dean for Undergraduate
2.7The SON will develop nurse internship/residency programs from undergraduate level through post-doctoral students. Residency program development will meet project milestones and will be developed{Post-doc outcome} / By Fall 2011 / COGS/COUS
