Top-performing Hyundai dealerships receive awards in Frankfurt
· Hyundai honours top European dealerships
· Bristol Street Motors, Monaghan Brothers, Sandon Road Hyundai and J T Hughes receive honours
· Awards showcase Hyundai’s constant improvements in dealer standards across Europe
The top-performing Hyundai dealerships for customer satisfaction in the UK have been announced at a prestigious awards ceremony in Frankfurt. Four dealerships claimed prizes in Hyundai Europe’s CS Excellence Awards for their performance in the UK while one also was awarded at a European level.
The Hyundai CS Excellence awards are judged in four categories: best overall, the best for sales, best service, and most improved dealer. This year, dealerships from 17 European markets competed for honours.
Taking the best overall prize for the UK was Bristol Street Motors, based in Peterlee, whose performance across all judging measures was consistently high. For sales, Monaghan Brothers of Drumhaw, Northern Ireland, was awarded with the top prize and also picked up second place in the same category when judged against entrants from the rest of Europe. Sandon Road Hyundai of Stafford took the top spot in the service category, and the most improved UK dealership was J T Hughes, Oswestry.
Tony Whitehorn, CEO of Hyundai Motor UK, commented, “The CS Excellence Awards are designed to motivate Hyundai dealerships to invest in elevating customer satisfaction. Each of the four winners from the UK is a shining example of the level of quality the network is providing to customers, and we take great pride in receiving such positive recognition.”
The Hyundai CS Excellence Awards were created to raise standards of customer service across the European dealer network, and recognise and reward the best dealers from across the region. Winners are chosen for each of the four categories in the markets that enter. These are then judged on a Europe-wide basis in which the top three dealerships are rewarded.
For each category, a rigorous judging process takes into account all manner of aspects from the general appearance of the dealership to the quality of the dialogue of customer service between dealer and customer. Mystery shopping visits ensure that participating dealers can be judged consistently against the criteria.
