Entry Fees for entries received by November 7: $20 per class or $90 Unlimited classes
For entries RECEIVED BETWEEN November 7 & 21 there will be a surcharge of $15
Ground Fee: $5 per Horse/Pony

Competitors do not have to be an ACDS member to compete however they will have to pay a One Activity Membership of $25

- Competitors need to have competed at least two previous shows with the combination they are showing on the day
- The organisers/committee reserve the right to cancel or combine classes if there are insufficient entries.
- The organisers do not accept responsibility for the lossor damage to horses, harness or vehicles, owners, drivers, passengers, spectators or any other persons or property whilstat or near the venue of this event.
- The organisers reserve the right toalter or amend this programme in any way it deems fit without giving prior warning.
- Height certificates will be required for those animals competingin classes with height stipulations.
- Withdrawals from competition will be accepted with a vet certificate or medical certificate for a full refund less $10 administration fee.
- Protests in writing within 30 minutes of the event ending accompanied by a $50 deposit (non refundable if protest dismissed). The ground jury’s decision is final on all matters.
- Blinkers – All equines must be wearing blinkers while in harness
- Drivers aged 6-10 years are to be accompanied by an experienced adult ACDS driver holding a second set of reins
- Drivers aged 11-15 years must be accompanied by an experienced adult ACDS driver.
- Driver 16-17 years may drive a pair of ponies but not horses or larger combinations.
- Drivers 16-17 years may drive a stallion at the discretion of the organizers.
- Junior drivers (17 years and under) must wear an approved safety helmet while in a vehicle (driver , passenger, groom & handler)
- It is recommended that all competitors have a suitably attired groom/handler available at all times.
- All equines competing must be 3yrs old or over.
- No classes will be held so please be ready.
- Public liability insurance- Any person causing a claim to be made against the ACDS Inc. insurance policy is personally liable for the excess amount as determined by the insurance policy at the time of the incident.
- Equines are not to be tied to a float which is not hitched to a towing vehicle.
- All drivers at an ACDS approved showing event are responsible for
knowledge of, and compliance with, the Showing Driving Rules.
20. Random swabbing may take place.

The committee would like to see every horse and pony in the ring for this event for a final photograph of the ACDS WA National Carriage Driving Championships

Definitions
Novice Equine
A novice is an equid which has not won more than 4 first placings in a harness event at any show. (Turnout & whip classes not included)
Turnouts
Singles and multiples can take part in these classes
- Period Costume –This is not a true period turnout. it is Open to Authentic and non-Authentic Turnouts. authentic vechiles will need thedriver & passengers to be dressed to the era of the vehicle. exhitiors with non authentic vehciles with need to dress according to what era the vechiles design comes from. the ‘era’ of the turnout is to be displayed in a number holder. Viceroys not appropriate in this class.

- Authentic type- Reproduction of an authentic vehicle
- Viceroy or showbox wagon- Four wheel, pneumatic tyres
- CDE- A vehicle which is suitable for the Dressage and presentation phases.

To be judged from winners of nominated classes

To be judged from remaining championsand second place getter to the champion.
Supreme
This will be judged from the nominated champions.
ACCOMMODATION
There is a variety of accommodation of different levels in and around Dwellingup.
Murray Carriage Driving Club have generously made the Club grounds available for camping of horses and humans
You will need to provide your own yards
Camping costs are $10 for Murray members and $15 for nonmembers (Saturday night)
Gill Woodstock can provide a list of other accommodation for those requiring it

Everyone is welcome to join in a BBQ dinner at the MDCDC club house at a cost of $25 per person. Please bring your own drinks, chairs & anything else you might need for an enjoyable night
