The undersigned landowner and tenant jointly and severally apply to South Sutter Water District for water for irrigation of the lands described below during the irrigation season of 2018 subject to and in conformity with the latest rules and regulations covering the distribution and payment of water adopted by the Board of Directors of the District as summarized in the Bulletin which accompanies this application form. It is understood that the availability of water to supply this application is dependent upon all applications received by February 15, 2018 and the water deemed by the District to be available. IN NO EVENT WILL AN APPLICATION BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 1.

Any application received after February 15, 2018 but prior to April 1, 2018 is subject to approval. The Board will consider late applications and if approved a 6% penalty for all water used during the 2018 irrigation season will be assessed.

Charges for water used under this application will be billed and paid in conformity with the following rules and regulations:

First Installment:½ of total allocated water cost due April 1, 2018.

MUST BE PAID NOT LATER THAN 5 DAYS PRIOR TO DELIVERY.

Second Installment: ½ of total allocated water cost due July 1, 2018.

Delinquent August 1, 2018. Delinquent charges are subject to a penalty of 10% and addition of 1% per month interest thereafter until paid.

BEFORE WATER WILL BE TURNED ON, FOR THE ENSUING IRRIGATION SEASON, AN APPLICATION SIGNED BY THE LANDOWNER AND BY TENANT MUST BE ON FILE AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE AND ALL OUTSTANDING CHARGES, INCLUDING WATER TOLLS, STANDBY CHARGES, ASSESSMENTS, PENALTIES AND INTEREST MUST BE PAID. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WATER BILL IS ON THE LANDOWNER AND THE LANDOWNER MUST MAKE APPROPRIATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR HIS OR HER PROTECTION.
