Tournament Regulations

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

1The current laws of Table Tennis and the Rules & Regulations of the ITTF and TTS will apply.

2Competitors must be fully affiliated members of Table Tennis Scotland.

3Qualification rounds for singles events will be by groups, except at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

4All ties shall be the best of 5 games and 11 points up.

5Completed entry forms and fees to be sent to Phil McCallum, 241 Kinfauns Drive, Flat 1-2, Drumchapel, Glasgow, G15 7BH

6If it is necessary to restrict entries, this will be done on the basis of "last in first out".

7The Tournament Referee & Committee will make the draw on a convenient date.

8Junior Competitors must be born after 31 December 1996.

9Cadet Competitors must be born after 31 December 1999.

10Minor Competitors must be born after 31 December 2001.

11 All competitors will be required to umpire. Failure to do so when asked will result in disqualification

12 No expenses will be paid to any competitor.

13 Entry to the Championships implies that the competitor may undergo drugs testing.

14 Any competitor taking part in gambling at the Championships shall be liable to immediate disqualification and eviction from the premises. Any such disqualification/eviction shall be reported to Table Tennis Scotland.

15 Play shall be on Butterfly tables with Butterfly nets and posts. 40mm white Celluloid balls will be used.

16 When called to the table, players will have 2 minutes to appear, knock-up and start the match.

17 Completion and submission of this entry form signifies agreement by the entrant to ALL conditions of the tournament.

18 ITTF dress and racquet regulations will apply. Replica football kit is not permitted.

19 Play will commence at 10am

20Changing, shower, and car parking facilities are available.

Under 11 Boys/Girls – Trophies
