COUNTY QUALIFICATION

All entrants must have a Sussex County qualification through Birth or Residence. Residence requires nine months continuous residence in the County prior to the date of competition.

WAIVER OF COUNTY QUALIFICATION

Sussex County qualification may be waived in the case of athletes who are in term time residence at a School or College in Sussex. Such athletes may be regarded as “County Champions” but may not represent the County. All competitors who enter under this waiver should cross out the words“that I have a Sussex Qualification” and under their signature print the words “No Sussex Qualification”.

UNDER 13 AGE GROUP

Competitors who are aged 11 and under 13 on 31st August 2015.

LIMITATION OF EVENTS

Athletes may compete in a maximum of three individual events in one day of an athletics meeting plus a relay but are not permitted to compete in more than one event between 600m and 1500m inclusive on the same day.

PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE

The Provisional Timetable is to assist you in planning your entries but the actual timing may be changed dependant on entries. Copies of the Final timetable will be sent to all competitors in the week prior to the Championships. You are strongly advised to check with the Final Timetable for the actual time of your event(s).

ENTRY FEES

Entry fees are:-

£5:00 first event & £4:00 per extra event

Entry fee for Relays is £8.00 per team and entry must be made on Club headed note paper.

Final date for receiving entries is Friday 19thJune 2015 – NO Entries will be accepted after this date so please allow plenty of time in case of postal delays.

Limited Edition high quality 100% Cotton T-Shirt commemorating the Sussex 2015 Championships is available for £10.00. A similar quality Sweatshirt is available for £17.00. TheT-Shirts and Sweatshirts will be for sale on the day at the registration table where you will also be able to obtain details of the sizes available – please do not send payment for these items with your entry form.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRY

During the week prior to the Championships you will be emailed a copy of the Final Timetable. No acknowledgement of your entry will be sent prior to this Final Timetable mailing.You can contact the Entries Secretary by email f you have any queries regarding the entry.

  • Depending on Entries the 800m & 1200m may be run as a series of Races, with the medals going to the fastest three times from all the races.
  • Due to restrictions on the timetable there will not be heats for the 4x100m Relays. Should more than eight teams declare for the final then the event will be run as two or more races with the medals going to the fastest three times overall.
  • In the field events, except for the High Jump, all competitors will have 3 trials with the top 6 having a further 3 trials.
