March Meeting 2015
Thirty members attended the March meeting held at Heritage Motors in Marquette. Member Larry Eveland was a suprise guest from Indiana. Steve opened the meeting and Bill Carlson provided the minutes from the February meeting.
Treasurer's report
Clay Johns went over the financials. Several members paid thier renewals. We are now at 95 members for 2015.
Comminications
Steve recieved a letter from a gentleman from South Carolina. He is a history buff on Ford factories. He sent some information on a factory in Finland. Because it is written in Finnish he was hoping Steve could translate it for him.
Old Business.
A reminder about the Annual Banquet on April 25th. RSVP to Diane .
Norman brought in a license plate and patch of the Superior A logo. He took advance orders for both. The plate was $15 for black background and $14 for white. The patches were going for $6.50 Call Norman if you are interested.
The Negaunee Historical Museum request was clarified. They would appreciate if we could have some cars on April 6 or 7 at the museum. Several members agreed to attend. An answer to an appraisal question wasgiven by Hagerty Insurance. For Vintage automobiles they do not require an appraisal. You can set the value on your car and request it be insured for that amount. They require a picture be sent to them. They also need to know of any modifications to the car. New Business
September 19 is Model A Day. This years Shoot and Scoot will be held to coincide with that day. More details will be coming. Keith Johnson Gave areport on the Library and whats happening with it.
The Nest meeting is scheduled for April 28th at the Cliffs Shaft Mining Museum in Ishpeming.
