*Joined as a Team Member at World Exposition held in Yokohama, Japan participated by almost every single Country in the World.
*Followed by another World Exposition in Osaka , Japan in 1990 again as a Team Member.
*Worked as Overall in-Charge cum Team Leader in setting up “ COURT LODGE” Restaurant chain from Kobe, Osaka, Chiba/ Narita to Tokyo in Japan. This included setting up over 10 Restaurants in different strategic locations within a short span of 4 years .
*Resigned as Overall Head for the whole chain which the undersigned played a major role in setting up all the outlets and Staff & Cadre Training.
Duties involved:
*Initially was responsible for Public Relations and Sales as a Team Member. This included Customer Care as well.
*Subsequent to the promotion as Overall Head cum Team Leader was responsible for the entire setting up of the Restaurant chain which included working with various Architects to other Mechanical and Electrical Consultants together with selecting and sourcing Staff and Cadre uniforms, Crockery/ Cutlery, Glassware etc;.
*As the Overall Head was responsible for the entire Operations whilst making sure the Restaurants run smoothly. Was also responsible for Sales, Daily Cash Collections and Maintaining of Proper Stock levels of all Items. Public Relations and Customer Care became a day to routine for continuous Improvement and Success.
*Started to practice and gain Interpreting skills ( Japanese / English ) thanks to the various Foreign Travelers who frequented the Restaurants.
Key achievements / Skills learned:
*Out of 170 Team Members was fortunate enough to be selected as one of the five Members to set-up “Court Lodge Restaurant” chain in Japan and yet as the Overall Head cum Team Leader. This was mainly due to the correct handling of the responsibilities entrusted at World Expositions which included Public Relations, Sales and smooth Operation.
*Managed to meet the budgeted sales targets and exceeded targets most of the time.
*Participated in several workshops which enhanced the whole experience with Japanese Cultural & Hospitality Ethics and Business Management.
*By this time was able to speak Perfect Japanese in many Dialects and Interpret as often done thanks to a large number of Foreign Tourists and other Travelers who frequented the Restaurants.

*Initially was employed as a Japanese / English Interpreter cum Assistant to The President and The Board of Directors. Was mainly involved in instigating the International Business Relations and subsequently setting up Overseas Offices and Operations.
*Whilst reporting to The President and The Board of Directors. acted as a Japanese / English Interpreter at the same time for the Group. This included visiting various countries either with The President or other Directors of the Group.
* Mastered the art of Japanese Business Interpreting having done this for many years at the highest level. Was also instrumental in Negotiating, Promoting and Managing US$ Multi Million Dollar Businesses in the process for the Group both inside and outside Japan.
*Was also heavily involved in Tele Conferences as an Interpreter with Overseas Counterparts / Clients.
*Took part as an Interpreter in many Board Meetings held Overseas with Groups between 10- 20 persons at a time apart from face to face one to one meetings.

Was able to learn through experience different systems and approaches adopted by various countries in their respective Business Worlds.
* Learnt various Japanese Business Dialects and Business Terminology as a whole which can be interpreted both ways between Japanese and English.
*Became Executive Director International Operations thus being the youngest to be so far within Comany Inc. Being an Executive Director of Comany Group and through their Investments was also able to serve on some of the Manufacturing Companies as a Director. This included the Industries of Tea, Packaging, Food & Beverage, Porcelain, Clothing / Fashion etc;.
*Learned much about the Factory Operations and Technical aspects of such Factories and it’s Functions. In-turn had to interpret same either to The President or other Board of Directors of Comany Inc as part of being the Japanese / English Interpreter.
* Has good Knowledge and Experience in interpreting on Manufacturing Operations come Factory Technicalities. Visited Factories and Offices as an Interpreter in Japan, United Kingdom, United States of America, Denmark, Netherlands, China, Italy, Belgium, India, Sri Lanka to name a few.

*Was also involved in Tele Conferencing between 2 persons to many more at a time connecting Japan with other parts of the World. In the process became a good negotiator on Clients be-half.
*As the Chairman of Goldblock Limited is a Japanese National, subjected to being an Interpreter for all his Discussions and Tele Conferences with Foreign Clients and Counterparts on a full time / permanent basis.
*Accompany Japanese Clients on their Overseas Trips to visit Offices and Factories etc; for their Business Meetings and Inspections respectively.

*Was responsible to be appointed as the Local Agent for Japanese Construction Giant “ Ohbayashi Corporation” in order to undertake US$ 14 Billion Air Port Construction Project.
