FAQs about Application Procedures:
To assemble your externship packets, you will need three things:
1. Labels (Avery 5352 and 5960)
2. Envelopes (9" x 12")
3. Resume Paper (white or ivory)
What type of labels do I need?
You will need Averylabels in two sizes: 5352 (for return address labels) and 5960 (for addressing applications).
What type of envelopes do I need?
You will need a 9" x 12" clasp envelope that looks like this:
Where can I purchase labels and envelopes?
Labels and envelopes can be purchased at any office supply store.
What type of resume paper do I need?
You will need standard white or ivory resume paper (25% cotton is fine) available at any office supply store, andwill need enough resume paper to print all of your cover letters and resumes.
When should I send my packets?
Mail your packets anytime from November 26th through November 30th to ensure that they arriveon December 1, 2010.
When can I stop by the CDO for externship application help?
On November 22nd the CDO willholdthree, 30 minute mail merge tutorials in classroom B, at the following times: 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m.,and 3:00 p.m.
Additionally, the CDO will be open to allow you to mail merge and print, anytime from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on November 22nd, November 23rd, November 24th, November 29th and November 30th.
