Job Title: Women’s Ministry Admin Assistant & Events Coordinator

Accountable To: Pastor of Women’s Ministry

Status: Salaried/Part-time 29 hours per week - Exempt

Job Titles Supervised: None

Purpose: To serve the New Life Church campus by providing administrative support services to the Pastor of Women’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry Department.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform diversified tasks utilizing a thorough working knowledge of the policies and procedures of New Life Church and accurately represent the Pastor of Women’s Ministry and the Women’s Ministry Department in all interactions.
  • Organize various weekly, monthly, yearly meetings/events which include but are not limited to Women’s Discipleship, Women’s Wednesday Nights, Women’s Sunday School, New Life Women’s conferences, Girls Morning Out, Ladies Night Out, etc.
  • Complete all expense reports for the Women’s Ministry Department.
  • Correspond with speakers/leaders and meet with appropriate departments, i.e. av tech, web services, accounting, hospitality, etc.
  • Promote events internally/externally.
  • Organize volunteers for events.
  • Organize meetings with the Women’s Leadership Team.
  • Enter receipts for accounting reimbursements for team members.
  • Draft new forms and initiate creativity in developing communication in all areas of Women’s ministry when requested by Pastor of Women’s Ministry or the Women’s Ministry Department.
  • Schedule counseling and other appointments for Women’s Ministry pastoral staff.
  • Respond to emails and other correspondence as directed.
  • Work with the Women’s Ministry team and Dream Team in managing the Fellowship One volunteer pipeline and communicating with volunteer applicants.
  • Complete projects as directed by Pastor of Women’s Ministry and the Women’s Ministry Department.
  • Support New Life Church with your tithe.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and additional meetings when requested.
  • Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment among our staff and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of New Life Church.
  • Cooperate with the Women’s Department by performing any other duties when asked to do so.

MinimumRequirements

Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent.

Experience: General office or related work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity and experience with a variety of software applications, such as: the MS Office suite of applications -- Word, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with email, such as MS Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and office skills.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetical functions.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively and tactfully at all levels.
  • Personable and helpful attitude.
  • Ability to handle constantly changing priorities and demands.
  • Excellent grammar skills and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to complete projects with little guidance.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficiently operate various office machines.
  • Excellent phone/communication skills
