DECA’S OFFICIAL DRESS CODE

for ALL Participants attending the

2008 Area 14/15 Career Development Conference on Monday, February 11

Females

§  Business suit, with dress blouse or

§  Skirt, dress slacks with dress blouse tucked in, or a

§  Business dress; with

§  dress shoes (closed toe) and nylons.

Males

§  Business suit or sport coat with dress slacks, collared dress shirt and necktie, or

§  Collared dress shirt and necktie with dress slacks; with

§  dress shoes and dress socks.

***On the Judge’s Evaluation Form for each role-play event, there is a 10 POINT PENALTY DEDUCTION if you are not dressed according to the above guidelines.

DECA is a professional organization! Jeans, cargo pants, t-shirts, skin tight or revealing clothing or tennis shoes are not acceptable when competing in DECA’s Competitive Events!
