GENERAL

Walls should be washed or marks removed.

Holes in walls should be filled and spackle and the wall wiped clean of excess spackle & paint.

If there are any large holes, such as from wall anchors, the holes will need to be patched and the entire wall painted.

Fireplace needs to be professionally cleaned. Provide a receipt or inspected if not used.

Light bulbs need to be replaced where needed

Replace any dead smoke detector batteries

Replace garage remote/key pad batteries if necessary

Repair/replace torn or missing window/door screens

Replace any cracked or missing outlet, switch, and phone or T.V. wall plate

Touch up paint where needed

Replace any door stops that are missing

Replace all air filters and fridge filter if applicable

POWER & WATER MUST BE ON FOR THE INSPECTION

CARPET CLEANING

Carpets are to be cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner upon move out. As a tenant you may have the carpets cleaned by a professional and return a copy of the receipt to the property manager showing proof of the cleaning. Or alternatively the property management will have the carpets professionally cleaned and the expense will be deducted from your security deposit.
