Review of Minutes

The 9/8/09 Conference Call Minutes were not discussed and will be on next week’s agenda for approval.

Requirements Review

SCR 8482- Provide ability for NYTD related data entry for all aftercare children

The scope of this SCR is to create a privilege that provides access to cases and referrals throughout the state for entry of NYTD data for after care youth. There was discussion regarding whether or not there should be some restrictions and if this will cause county workload issues. The group discussed the requirements and some modifications will be made. Requirement #1 will be updated to:

· 1st bullet will be updated to remove the ability to update an active case. Users with the new privilege will only be able to view active cases and or referrals throughout the state.

· 2nd bullet will be updated to include a sub bullet clarifying the function of the new privilege in conjunction with the existing Closed Case/Referral Update privilege. The current hierarchy of privileges as outlined in the Application Access Security document shall continue to be followed (i.e. user must have Adoption privilege to access Adoption information, Sealed privilege to access Sealed clients etc.).

R6.4 Issues Discussed

SCR 8330 - Implement Chafee National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) Regulations

Issue #25- The group reviewed the screen shots where Education information is currently found in the CWS/CMS application. A new frame will be added on the Enrollment Information page labeled “Client Special Education”. Yes and No buttons and Start Date and End Date will be added to this frame which will populate a grid column with ‘Instruction Received’, ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’ information.

SCR 8432 - Probation Access to CWS/CMS

Issues #10-14: The group was asked to review the proposed solutions and we shall revisit on the next call scheduled for next Tuesday, September 22nd.
