HOW TO INSTALL PCANYWHERE

To install PCAnywhere by the first time it is necessary to follow the following steps:

1. In the first Screen click on the option Install pcAnywhere 10.0.

2. In this screen choose the option Pcanywhere for the professional.

3. To start whit the installation click on the button Next.

Accept the terms of the license agreement and click on the button Next.

4. In this screen, in the blankets User name and organization write Boink Systems,Inc and click on the button Next.

Choose the option Typical and click on the button Next.

5. Now the program is ready to be installed, so click on the button Install to start the installation.

6. pcAnywhere is installing, so just waint until it finish.

7. When the installation has finished, the next screen is about support, so click on the button Next.

Click on the button Next to know the windows solutions.

Continue clicking on Next.

8. To see the live updates available, click on the button Next.

Wait until the LiveUpdate finish the configuration.

Click on the button finish.

9. In the register process, click on the button Skip.

To the answer of the screen, click on the button Yes to confirm the skip of the registration process.

10.In this step the installation of pcAnywhere has finished, so check the option to create a shortcut in the desktop and finally click on the button Finish

  1. The last step is to restart the computer, click on the button Yes .

HOW TO CONFIGURE A SERVER PCANYWHERE

Is important to know that a Server PcAnywhere is useful to do monitoring of the local computer from others computers, to configure a server pcanywhere follow this steps:

1. Make double click on the icon of pcAnywhere over the desktop, and make click on the icon of the computer corresponding to Hosts.

2. In the icon Direct click the right button of the mouse and choose the option properties.

3. In the option Connection Info, just check the option TCP/IP, the others have to be unchecked.

4. Now go to the section Settings and check the option Launch whit Windows.

5. In the section Callers, click on the right button of the mouse and choose the option New, this option is to configure the user name and the password of the local machine.

6. When you have done click on new, write the user name and the password of the computer in the spaces corresponding to this, and make click on the button Apply.

7. The screen of this step is the result of the last step, to finish just click on the button OK.

HOW TO CONFIGURE A CLIENT PCANYWHERE

To do monitoring of the kiosks, it is necessary to ocnfigure the pcAnywhere like client, and to do this follow this steps:

1. On the option Remotes, click the right button of the mouse on the icon of Add Remote and choose the option Add New Item.

2. In the option Settings, write the ipaddress of the computer in the option Network host PC to control or IP address.

3. Check the option Automatically login to host Upon Connection and in the option Login Name write the login to enter to the kiosk and in password the corresponding password. (example: Login Name: Kiosk, Password: Control) and finally click on the button Ok to finish whit the configuration.
