Conducting research on the structural and tectonic history of the Virgin Islands Basin. Project involves seismic interpretation, basin modeling, and the creation of velocity models in and around the basin.

Integrated Geology Intern (Summer 2013)
Worked with the Brazil exploration team in order to create and describe a depositional model for an early Cretaceous carbonate reservoir. Project involved well log interpretation and correlation used in combination with seismic data. Created a workflow that is being used to characterize other carbonate reservoirs in upcoming bid rounds.
Catalyst Recovery of Louisiana, Lafayette, LA
Lab Technician (2011-2012)
Conducted various tests on spent and unused catalyst used in the oil refining process. These tests help enforce a set of environmental and company enforced standards for the catalyst. Services provided to major oil companies including Shell, BP, Exxon Mobil, Marathon and Chevron. Entrusted to perform all the trial experiments on a new type of catalyst to ensure it met industry and environmental specifications.
