Opening: M.Guerriero: Welcome

Mrs. Martin:

Calendar of school events:

  • 4/21- Grandparents/ Special person day
  • It’s vital that the school knows who is going to be attending prior to Friday. If they are not on the list, they will not be allowed to participate
  • Guests need to arrive @ 11:00
  • Hot lunch will not be served. Children and guest need to bring lunch
  • 4/27- IOWA testing begins, notice will be sent home on 4/24
  • 4/28- Kids night out
  • 5/12- Mary’s Crowning
  • 5/18- Spring Concert
  • 5/20- Shad Derby, notice will be going out early May
  • 5/21- School Mass
  • 6/13 – Field Day

Gym Uniform Committee:

  • Mrs. Martin is setting up a committee to discuss gym uniform alternatives (specific companies, specific gear, etc.) If you would like to be on the committee, please contact Mrs. Martin

Virtus Training: upcoming dates:

  • If you would like to volunteer, you must be Virtus Trained

Enrollment for 2017-2018 year:

  • Current count is 107 students. Please send in your form as soon as possible, so the school can have an accurate count for the school year.

Home & School:

  • Election Year: Bring nominations! Seeking new board members for the 2017-2019 school year.
  • Square 1 Art: Purchases should be going home with students in a few weeks.
  • Products will arrive on 4/26
  • Bids for Kids: Goods and Service Auction:Looking for chairs, volunteers, business committee chair and committee.
  • Especially looking for Business Chair to shadow starting in June
  • Gift Cards: Purchase gift cards year-round and receive credit towards family fundraising obligation and TUITION!

April 25: Butterfly Paint Party: $25 Grades K-4

  • Five spots still remaining

April 30: My School Color Run. The most COLORFUL fundraiser of the year!

  • April 19th IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER ONLINE AT REDUCED RATES AND GUARANTEE RACE SUPPLIES
  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
  • Especially Registration table 12-2:30 & Snack table

May 18: Vacation Raffles(Winner announced at the Spring Concert)Nantucket June 9-16, and July 28-Aug 4

  • $10 per ticket
  • Winner will announced at Spring Concert

May 1: Connecticut Science Center Admission Ticket Sale: $16.95 for both kids and adults! (Compared to $23.95 adults/$16.95 kids)

May: Cookies and Tea for Dolly & me

May 26: Talent Show

May 12: Hartford Yard Goats Game (Baseball) at Dunkin Donuts Stadium. Students will be singing God Bless America. Highest ticket seller will throw out the first pitch!

May 30:Painting party for grades 2-6

June 8: Junior Achievement Day. Looking for Parent/Family volunteers

June 13: Field Day
