The contest will be August 5th at The Braxton County Fair, Holly Gray Park

The contest will start at approximately 7:00 PM.

Each contestant will be performing two songs (one song must be slow and

one song fast) Unless time doesn’t permit two songs, then you will sing

your song that you have for Song #1!

Once you give your two songs, you cannot change your songs unless more than one person is doing the same song. Then you will be given the option to change your song if you would like too.

There will be two age groups (15 and under) and (16 and up).

You will be judged on five categories: Marketability in Music, Vocal/ Instrumental Ability, Originality of Performance, Stage Presence/Charisma and Talent. With points of 0-10 per category given per judge.

You will be allowed to use a TV screen with the words but if you choose not to use the monitor, you will be given a bonus of 3 points.

You must check in with Larry or Robert by 5 PM at the stage for sound check. Sound check will end by 6 PM.
