GLENS OF ANTRIM HERITAGE TOUR GUIDE TRAINING
We are delighted to announce the appointment of CMC Tourism Services to deliver a bespoke training course based around the themes of the Heart of The Glens Landscape Partnership.
The course will involve 8 full days of training (approx. 9.30 – 4.30) to include research work as well as presentation skills required to lead a tour group. Some preparation work will also be required outside of this time and candidates will be required to deliver a short piece of commentary for their final assessment. 100% attendance will be required in order to achieve this qualification.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an Open College Network (OCN) Level 2 Award in Tour Guiding Skills & Worldhost.
Fee - £50 non-refundable payment per participant. NOTE: This programme is being substantially subsidised in order to support the development of the tourist sector locally.
Catering - Tea/coffee and biscuits will be supplied each day. All you need to do is bring a packed lunch.
Location- Venue – Classroom sessions will be held at Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust Offices in Armoy and excursions will be by coach.
