HOW TO PAY

Cheque or cash

You may pay your subscription and/or publications orders by cash (UK sterling ONLY) or cheque .

Overseas Fellows are requested to ascertain the current sterling rate of exchange when sending their cheque remittance in currencies other than sterling.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘ROYAL HISTORICAL SOCIETY’.

Credit Card

The Society can process payments directly from debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard ONLY). Please submit card details on the form overleaf.

To pay for your subscription and/or purchase volumes online, please login to your membership account at: and follow the instructions to complete an order form and payment.

Bank account transfer (BACS)

If you wish to pay your subscription directly to the Society’s bank account, please contact the Executive Secretary for the Society’s banking coordinates (UK payments) or for the IBAN coordinates (non-UK payments) and for your unique account reference code (which must be quoted when making this type of payment).

Direct Debit

If you currently pay your annual subscription by Direct Debit Instruction you need take no further action. Your annual Direct Debit of either £50, £37, £30 or £10 respectively will be credited to the Society’s bank account on 1 July 2016.

Standing Order

If you wish to set up a standing order from your bank account to the Society, please contact the Executive Secretary for the Society’s banking coordinates and your unique account reference code. Anyone with an existing standing order should ensure that the 2016-17 subscription rates are reflected in their payment amount.

Life Members and Honorary Vice-Presidents

You are not required to pay an annual subscription and will receive Transactions and the annual Camden volumes free of charge. If you require any volumes in the Studies in History Series you may pay for them separately by cheque or credit card, or via PayPal (see above).

Honorary Fellows

You are not required to pay an annual subscription and will receive Transactions free of charge. If you require any of the Camden volumes or Studies in History Series volumes you may pay for them separately by cheque or credit card, or via PayPal (see above).

RHS Emeritus Fellows

You are not required to pay an annual subscription. If you require either Transactions or any of the Camden volumes or Studies in History Series volumes you may pay for them separately by cheque or credit card, or via PayPal (see above).
