Established in 2002, the ACUCA Student Mobility Scheme aims to foster a better understanding of Asian communities and cultures among ACUCA students. Under the Scheme, member institutions that have courses taught in English in either regular semester or summer sessions will exchange tuition waivers to enable students to study tuition-free at an institution outside of their own country for a semester or during the summer. ACUCA assistance will come in the form of an airfare subsidy.

This course is a combination of pedagogical theories and teaching practices. Since this course is mainly to prepare students to be English teacher, teaching projects and workshop dominate the class activities. / 2
PRAGMATICS / This course highlights some central concepts of Pragmatics. It deals a lot with language, meanings and their contexts. / 2
PSYCHOLINGUISTICS / This course is one of linguistics fields that introduces students to the study of language and brain focusing on the process of first language acquisition. / 2
SEMANTICS / This course is one of the fields in linguistics that introduces students to the study of meanings focusing on Reference and denotation; Connotation; Sense relations; Lexical and grammatical meanings; Morphemes; Homonymy and polysemy; Lexical ambiguity. / 2
STORY TELLING & WRITING FOR CHILDREN / This course introduces students on kinds of children literature and how they can do story telling and write children stories. / 2
NARRATOLOGY / This course mainly and specifically deals with how to compose a short story as well as to analyse it. FOOD ECOLOGY / This course will discuss about principle of ecology and environmental sciencewith direct confrontation to environmental problems at local and global level.Discussion about matter and energy cycle, biodiversity as the source of fooddiversity, will be presented as the foundation of environmental management andecosystem, whereas food system as part of ecosystem. Sociological andanthropological aspects of environmental problems will be covered in this courseto demonstrate human position in environmental problems (i.e. pollution and foodsafety, climate change and food security). Food globalization and sustainablefood 2production will be highlighted both theoretically and application according toactual condition. / 2
POST HARVEST MANAGEMENT / This course comprises of understanding about anatomy and composition aboutplant culture, respiration metabolism, climacteric- and non climacteric respirationpattern, plant hormone system, ethylene bio-synthesis and its role,physicochemical changes during post harvest, physiological response towarddeterioration, preservation treatment (including atmosphere composition control,
such as MAP-CAS). This course also covers physiological response duringtransportation. In addition to that, non fruit-vegetable foodstuff were also discussed, include among others tuber, meat, poultry and egg. / 2
FOOD TOXICOLOGY / This course will discuss interaction between pollutants both anthropogenic andnatural substances with the environment, from individual, population up toecosystem level. In addition, this course will discuss about risk evaluation ofpollutants: theory and its application on food safety. This course will also discussabout theory and method of risk evaluation of pollutant, especially in relation tofood safety. / 2
FERMENTATION TECHNOLOGY / The course will explain about the basic process of fermentation technology,which consists of inoculums isolation and development, fermentation media,media sterilization, instrumentation, aeration, agitation, harvest, recovery andpurification of fermentation product, and economical aspect of bioprocess. Thiscourse will also discuss microbial growth kinetics using batch, continuous andfed-batch system. / 2
FOOD QUALITY AND CONTROL / This course will discuss about definition of food quality and its influence factors,physicochemical, microbiological and sensory characteristics of food. The coursewill discuss also equipment and types of sensory test, and its data analysis. Inaddition, this course will introduce statistical data analysis in quality control,especially during production process. Management system such as Total QualityManagement (TQM), Good Practices (GPs), Hazard Analysis Critical ControlPoints (HACCP) and ISO will also be discussed related to food qualityassurance. / 2
FOOD ANTHROPOLOGY / This course discusses about human being/group of human being and theirinteraction both toward surrounding environment and other human being/group ofhuman being in creating food culture. On the other side, this course will alsodiscuss the role of food in creating human being/group of human being, both intraditional and contemporaneous concern. / 2

INDONESIAN ECONOMY / This course is basically an applied economics. In this course students are required to use various concepts that have been studied in economic theory to analyze the economic conditions of Indonesia. To be able to analyze in a comprehensive manner, in this course will discuss various concepts of development and also its application in Indonesia. Various economic theories and concepts of development will be used in order to understand the various issues and economic development that occurred in Indonesia. It is expected that students will participate regardless of the various economic and development issues in Indonesia. / 3
INTRODUCTION TO ENTREPREUNERSHIP / Course includes a sense of entrepreneurship, characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, the factors or requirements that can be groomed to become an entrepreneur. By following this course students are expected to understand the world of entrepreneurship entrepreneur, has a personal preparation to become an entrepreneur and have the interest to be good and successful entrepreneur. / 3
DECISION MAKING THEORY / Problems and decisions are part of human life, where men have always faced a variety of problems for the fulfillment of various needs of life, and it requires making the right decision.
In connection with the process of education and student teaching, problem solving and decision-making became an important part to make the student become a proficient scholar in the face of problems that require decisions. / 3
MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS IN THE GLOBAL ECONOMY / Managerial Economics in Global Economy is a course which deals with matters relating to the activities of the company in achieving its business objectives. These can be inhibiting or supporting the achievement of company goals, whether originatzing within the company (internal factors) or outside the company (external factors). These are discussed with managerial economic concepts that are based on economics (particularly microeconomics) and international economic concepts. / 3
RISK MANAGEMENT / Course is intended for students’ to understand the various types of risk da; lam every corner of life and ways to reduce the risk itself. The subject of this course consists of (1) an introduction to Risk Management, (2) The introduction of the various risks in all aspects of life (3) The introduction of uncertainty (4) The introduction of options and how to calculate (5) The introduction of other derivatives and applications in Risk Management (6) Introduction to Eviews program to apply the Risk Management (7) Risk Management Strategy (8) Hedging and Insurance. / 3
BUSINESS ETHICS / Discussing and instill or increase awareness about the linkages between business and ethics.

INNOVATION / An entrepreneur should always be to innovate continuously to survive in competition or even in competition. This course provides lunch to the students to be able to see the small hole of a business opportunity that can be a door to the success of the business. In addition, this Court also provides motivation to students to immediately try something "new". / 3
