T- Ball

Season runs Saturday, May 6 through approximately June 10
T-ball teams play Saturday morning for an hour at the Brentwood Recreation fields. The time is split with the first 30minutes dedicated to practicing individual skills and baseball fundamentals; the last 30 minutes is structured game play with Coaches continuing to instruct players during the game. The goal is to introduce the game of baseball, the basics of hitting, catching, throwing and playing together as a team. Possible weeknight practices are optional.
Farm Baseball
1stand 2ndGradeSeason runs approximately Saturday, May 6 through Saturday, June 10
Farm Baseball is designed to transition kids from t- ball to baseball. It's an instructional, non-competitive league.Farm goals are to develop fundamental skills and anenjoyment of the game. This is a machine/coach pitch to minimize downtime and allow the maximum at bats. This also makes the game safer and improves the playing confidence and ability of all participants. Teams will have one practice per week and one to two games per week. Some local area travel required
AAA Baseball
3rd and 4thGrade
Season runs approximately Saturday, May 6 through Saturday, June 10
AAA Baseball continues to build and developplayer’s fundamental skills while they begin to understand game strategy. Players will experience pitching from players. Pitcher's mound is at a distance of 46-feet from home plate. Base stealing is limited to 2nd and 3rd base as a teaching tool in this league. Teams will haveone or two practices during the week and generally play two games per week. Some local area travel required.
U8 Softball
Up to 8 Years (player is 8yrs. or younger on 1/1/17)
Season runs approximately Saturday, May 6 through Saturday, June 10
U8 Softball is an instructional levelin whichbasic softball skills and rules are introduced. Games are “coach pitch”, which allows for faster paced games with plenty of hitting and fielding. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals and teamwork as opposed to winning.U8 Teams will have approximately one practice during the week one or two game per week. At the end of the season, the teams participate in a softball league end of season Jamboree. Some local area travel required
U10 Softball
Up to 10 Years (player is 10yrs.or younger on 1/1/17)
Season runs approximately Saturday, May 6 through Saturday, June 10
U10 Softball continues to build and developplayer’s fundamental skills while they begin to understand game strategy. Players continue building and developingfundamental skills while learning more strategy. Players will experience some pitching from players as well as coaches.The pitcher’s mound is at a distance of 35' from home plate.New players to the game are welcome and strongly encouraged.Rules are ASA with some exceptions for local league. At the end of the season, the teams participate in a softball league end of season Jamboree.Some local area travel required.
U 12 and U 14 Softball
Up to 14 Years (player is 12yrs.or younger on 1/1/17)
Season runs approximately Saturday, May 6 through Saturday, June 10
This is competitive softball for still developing players. It is faster paced. Paid umpires call the games and most official ASA softball rules apply. Players continue to progress in skill development and strategy. These are more competitive levels but new players are always welcome and encouraged to play. At the end of the season, the teams participate in a softball league end of season tournament.Some local area travel required.
