Schedule of Classes
RING 1 CLASSES
(Class 1 commences at 0900 hrs )
RIDDEN HORSES/PONIES
Class 1 – Large ridden over 16hh
Class 2 – Ridden horse 15hh and over (not exceeding 16hh)
Class 3 - Ridden horse/pony 14'2 and over (not exceeding 15hh)
Class 4 - Ridden pony under 14'2
Class 5 - Ridden coloured 15hh and over
Class 6 - Ridden coloured under 15hh
Class 7 - Ridden young horse/pony any height 4 & 5 year old
1st & 2nd from classes 1 - 7 will go forward for Ridden Champion & Reserve immediately
after Class 7.
RIDDEN VETERAN
(Run under Veteran Horse Society Rules)
Class 8 – Pre-veteran (15-19 years)
Class 9 – Veteran (20 years and over)
Class 10 - Diamond - veteran (over 25years)
1st & 2nd from classes 8 -10 will go forward for Veteran Champion & Reserve Champion
immediately after class 10.
RING 2 CLASSES
(Class 11 commences at 1000 hrs)
EQUITATION
Class 11 - 15hh and over
Class 12 - under 15hh
RIDING CLUB HORSE (RIDDEN) Ring 2
(Judged on all round suitability for RC activities and will include a SJ)
Class 13 – Riding Club Horse over 16hh
Class 14 – Riding Club Horse, over 15hh but not exceeding 16hh
Class 15 – Riding Club Horse/Pony 15hh &Under
Class 16 – Young Riding Club Horse/Pony 4&5 yrs, any height
1st and 2nd from Classes 13-16 will go forward for Champion & Reserve Riding Club Horse immediately following Class 16
RING 3 CLASSES
(Class 17 commences at 1400 hrs)
WORKING HUNTERS
Following completion of the jumping phase competitors will proceed to
ride an individual show and trot up for the judge.
Class 17 - Starter Working Hunter (approx 45 -60 cm)
Class 18 – Novice Working Hunter (approx70-80 cm)
Class 19 – Intermediate Working Hunter (approx.80-90cm)
Class 20 – Open Working Hunter (approx. 90cm- 1m)
1st & 2nd from Classes 17-20 will go forward for Working Hunter Champion & Reserve
Champion immediately following Class 20.
SHOWJUMPING
RING 4 CLASSES
(Class 21 commences at 1200hrs)
Class 21- Mini (approx45cm)
Class 22– Mini Minor (approx 60cm)
Class 23- Minor (approx 70cm)
Class 24- Novice (approx 80cm)
Class 25 – Intermediate (approx 90cm)
Class 26– Major (approx 1m)
Class 27– Open (approx 1m10)

COMPETITORS MUST BE 12YRS & OVER
Moray Riding Club do not accept any liability for accident or damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other persons or property. Medical cover will be First Aiders.
The committee may change entrant’s classes if they are thought to be in the wrong class,
classes may be amalgamated at committee’s discretion. The making of an entry implies
acceptance of the rules. Entries should be paid at the time of entering. Fees not paid by the
STARTof the class may result in competitors being refused admission to the arena.
*Telephone and late entries will be £2.00 extra per class and are accepted at the Secretary’s discretion.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
No Litter to be dropped at any time.
Caterer/Jimmy & Crew will be in attendance.
