3Client Provisioning and Configuration
3.1Mobile device workstations
Mobile Device Workstation ConfigurationDescription / AssetTrack Mobile is the client program that runs on Windows Mobile devices. For field personnel who will be using AssetTrack Mobile for data collection, they must provide network connectivity for the mobile device so that it can upload and download application-related data (assets, products, employees, etc). The typical way to provide this connectivity is USB connection to a desktop/laptop workstation that is connected to the network.
Wireless-enabled mobile devices do not require a workstation.
