School Garden Rep - Email to External Circle
Hi [insert name of influencer here] - I know [insert topic such as schools, healthy eating, childhood obesity, kids, etc here] is something you’re passionate about, so I thought you may be interested in our school project.
Our kids are getting adult diseases. 1 in 3 children are obese and likely to develop type 2 diabetes. This is scary and frankly unacceptable.
The great news is this is reversible, just by eating better and exercising. But how do we get our kids to eat better? Well, when kids grow vegetables, they eat vegetables! So part of the solution is to plant a school garden!
We’ve been selected to start our own school garden by Healthy Planet, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring a new generation of conscious eaters, but we need your help to make it happen!
We’ll be raising money for 30 days starting on [insert campaign date] to reach our goal of [insert fundraising goal]

We’d love your support if you have the time! Some things you can do to help:
1. Promote - Share our campaign and updates with emails, social media, at work, etc. or write an article or blog post for us!
2. Buy Seeds! - We’re selling packets of seeds to help pay for our garden. The cost of the seeds are by donation. Just go to [insert link to campaign webpage], make a donation of any amount and we’ll send your seeds to you.
3. Donate - If seeds aren’t your thing, a simple donation would still be great! Whether it’s $10, $100, or $1000, whatever you can give will help us reach our goal.
4. Fundraise - Ask your friends, family, neighbors, local businesses and employers to donate. School gardens improve communities and decrease crime. Everybody wins! Businesses that donate over $100 get their logo on the school garden banner.
5. Volunteer - If we reach our goal, we’ll need help building the garden at the Dig Day.
