Position Title: / Driver/Specimen Technician
Reports To: / Substance Abuse Programs Coordinator
Full Time Equivalent: / 1.0 FTE
Basic Job Requirements: / High School Diploma. Must be able to read, comprehend and respond to written English communication as well as hear and understand verbal English. Ability to speak in public. Must possess valid driver’s license.
General Description: / Provide services in the daily operation of substance abuse treatment program for the 3 year CORE Program at the Noble Street location
Salary Range:

Specific Tasks:

1.  Provide daily tasks as necessary for substance abuse treatment program.

2.  Conduct toxicology screens and the paperwork involved in a timely manner(see procedural manual)

3.  Collaborate with other HSC professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

4.  Other responsibilities as needed or assigned

1.  Ability and willingness to communicate appropriately and effective with clients, other professionals in the medical community, as well as other agencies and organizations

2.  Ability to relate to a diverse clientele; maintain client confidentiality

3.  Knowledge of and willingness to abide by principles of nondiscrimination on the basis of gender, race, national origin, creed, ethnicity or cultural background, disability or sexual orientation.

4.  Self-educate on a continuing basis to include the most current information in HSC’s substance abuse treatment programs

5.  Represent the agency on the phone, in person, and by mail in a way that is professional and reflective of the agency’s mission

6.  Adhere to all personnel policies and procedures and perform in a professional and businesslike manner.
