Public Comment Instructions


In person at Commission meetings:

  1. Sign-up sheets will be available at the beginning of designed meetings.
  2. Comments are limited to 2 minutes except on November 27th – comments will be limited to 5 minutes.
  3. When possible, comments should address “gaps” in mental health services and recommendations on how to fill the gaps with best practices.

Directions:

From South -

Take I-75/85 North to Exit 246 (Central Avenue) and continue straight. Take a right onto Trinity Avenue. OPB’s building will be on the corner of Washington & Trinity (on your right after crossing Washington Street).

Parking:

q  You may take a right off of Trinity Avenue onto Washington Avenue—a pay lot will be on your right after the church.

q  You may park at any of the metered parking along Trinity Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

q  You may continue down Trinity Avenue; merge onto Memorial Drive; go through the light at the intersection of Memorial Drive & Capitol Avenue; take a right at the next light, pay parking will be on your right (Archives Surface Lot).

q  You may continue down Trinity Avenue; merge onto Memorial Drive; take a left at the intersection of Memorial Drive & Capitol Avenue; pay parking will be on your right (behind the Capitol)

From North -

Take I-75/85 South to Exit 248A (MLK, Jr. Drive) and veer right onto MLK, Jr. Drive. At the third light, take a left onto Washington Street. The Capitol will be on the left. At the second light (the corner of Trinity Avenue & Washington Street), OPB’s building is to your left past the light.

Parking:

q  You may continue straight through the light to park at a pay parking lot, found to your right after the church.

q  You may take a left onto Trinity Avenue (OPB’s building will be to your right at this point) and park at any of the metered parking along the street from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

q  You may take a left onto Trinity Avenue (OPB’s building will be to your right at this point); merge onto Memorial Drive; go through the light at the intersection of Memorial Drive &

Capitol Avenue; take a right at the next light, pay parking will be on your right (Archives Surface Lot).
