2015-2016 AP Exam Registration Information

AP Exam Registration

  • AP students will receive AP Exam Registration Form and a copy of the 2015-16 Bulletin for AP Students and Parents in advisement on February 10, 2016.
  • Registration will open on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
  • Student and parent are to complete registration form and attach cash or check payment.
  • Grade 10-12 students are responsible for bringing registration form and payment to AP Exam table in Commons between 8:00– 8:20 AM during the 4 week registration period. Grade 9 students are responsible for bringing registration form and payment to their AP teacher.
  • Registration will close on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Students will NOT be able to register after March 23rd.

AP Exam Scholarships

  • Scholarships will be offered again this year for students in need that are taking 2 or more AP Exams and currently passing or have passed the course during 1st semester.
  • Students must turn in 2015-2016 AP Exam Scholarship Application by February 11, 2016 to the front office for Mrs. Graham, Asst. Principal.
  • Scholarship forms are available in front office or through any AP teacher.
  • Scholarship winners will be chosen at random in a lottery drawing and will be posted outside of the front office on February 22, 2016.
  • Each scholarship winner will be awarded a $50 scholarship that will be deducted from the total amount owed when they register for their AP Exams.
  • Scholarships funded by Sprayberry PTSA grant and local AP program funds.

AP Exam Fee Structure for students who are not on Free/Reduced Lunch

  • Cost for first exam: $92
  • Cost for all other exams: $92 each

AP Exam Fee Structure for Free/Reduced Lunch Students

  • Cost for the first exam: $0 (State of Georgia pays for 1st exam)
  • Cost for all other exams: $53 each

Required Pre-Bubbling Session

  • Students taking the AP Exam for Human Geography will do pre-bubbling with their AP teacher in class.
  • All other students who register to take at least one AP Exam (except AP Studio Art) must attend a pre-bubbling session to prepare answer documents for the exams.
  • Pre-bubbling sessions are mandatory and will only be offered at the following times in the LGI:

AP Exam Administration

  • AP Exams will be given at Sprayberry High School during May 2 – 13, 2016. See 2015-16 Bulletin for AP Students and Parent for dates.
  • When students complete their pre-bubbling session, a list of test room locations will be given to them along with test day reminders.
