Interrogative Words (palabras interrogativas) pg 13 (15 min) – Students to take notes on interrogative words and their translation/explain translations. Some questions are formed by putting a conjugated verb after the question word.
Adónde – to where

Reading pg 12 & 13 (5 min) – get three volunteers to read each role below

Actividad 14 (pg 13) (15 min)
In pairs, students respond to the 5 questions about the reading in full sentences. Model question #1.
Board - List 10 activities students like to do on Saturdays, en español (5 Min) This is to give them an idea on what to write about below.
Groups – groups of 4. (activity instructions below)(20 min total) – creating questions
Write on the board:
Yolanda tiene tres años.
Convert to question and write below the sentence: Cuántos años tiene Yolanda?
Erase the underline on tres and underline Yolanda.
Yolanda tiene tres años.
Create question: Quién tiene tres años?
Once in groups, students will:
Step 1: create their own logical sentence that answers as many questions as possible.
Step 2: Groups should demonstrate their sentences on the board, underscoring different pieces of information, then writing the appropriate questions. The group with the most questions wins. (present next block)

Students to write the responses to activity 15 on same paper as activity 14. Model number 1.
Actividad 16 (pg 14) (3 min) tentative if time allows
Students have three minutes to preguntarles a tus amigos su número de teléfono y dirección. The student with the longest list wins! SPANISH only!!!
