External Visitors credentials

Congress 2014will be held in the BT Convention Centre between 7th September and 10th September.

The pricing structure is now as follows: £30 for visitors sponsored by unions (within which free to unwaged); £70 to non-profit organisations; £160 to all other organisations. Visitors sponsored by unions should not use this form but apply through the union sponsoring them.

To apply directly to the TUC for visitor's credentials please complete and return the form below, enclosing a cheque for £70.00 for non-profit organisations and £160 for all others, payable to "TUC". Please photocopy this form if you have more than one request for a visitor’s credential. Applicants should include the name of the union of which they are a member. If they are not a union member an explanation should be provided; e.g. student etc. All applicants should give details of why they would like to attend Congress in the box below. Where applicants also have a particular connection with an organisation (either a union or some other organisation) this should also be included. Organisations/unions may be asked to vouch for the bona fides of applicants.

Please note the TUC reserves the right to refuse to issue visitors’ credentials.

Photos

Due to ongoing security concerns the General Council has agreed that a photo of the visitor should be included on visitors’ credentials. Please therefore send either a normal passport sized photo on paper or in an electronic format for each visitor, clearly indicating their full name. Black and white, or colour, are equally acceptable. A photo in an electronic format e.g. the typical JPEG format taken by digital cameras, would be much preferred. Electronic photos can be sent as attachments to e-mails to Please ensure that each photo clearly includes the name of the visitor and that the covering email contains the name of the union and name of visitor(s). In the case of large numbers of visitors it may be necessary to send a number of e-mails each with a number of photo files attached. If paper photos are being sent please ensure the name of the visitor is written clearly on the reverse of the photo. For tickets issued at Congress a digital camera will be available.
