FALL 2015

·  How much should I pay if I have been awarded Financial Aid?

Using your Web ID and password:

1)  Verify your “Bursar Account Balance” at http://my.olemiss.edu/

  1. Confirm that your fall tuition, room and meal plan charges are correct.
  2. There may have been changes to your account since the statement was printed.
  3. Contact the applicable office if you have any questions.

2)  Check your “Financial Aid Status” and accept your awarded financial aid at http://my.olemiss.edu/

  1. Complete all financial aid requirements.

3)  Subtract the amount of your accepted financial aid (Step #2) from your Bursar account balance (Step #1) and pay this amount.

  1. Payment is due by August 15, 2015.

·  Payments are due by August 15th. However, you can break your payments into installments paying in August, September, and October. Please note, if you opt to spread out your payments, your student account will still receive a hold, be sent a late notice, and accrue service fees of 1.5% after September 30th. Your account must be current before being able to register for Spring.

·  Federal regulations prohibit using Fall semester financial aid to pay for prior term charges on your Bursar account.

·  Financial Aid refunds issued by check are only processed one time per week, usually on Wednesdays. Financial Aid refunds issued by direct deposit are processed on a daily basis. Students are strongly encouraged to set up direct deposit for quicker processing of their refunds. Student direct deposit can be set up at http://my.olemiss.edu/

·  The tuition refund period ends on September 4, 2015 for dropped classes and for complete withdrawals.

·  If you haven’t registered, additional registration periods are:

Phase 2 registration period is August 1, 2015 – August 23, 2015. Students will be assessed a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.

Phase 3 registration period is August 24, 2015 – September 4, 2015. Students will be assessed a $100.00 non-refundable registration fee.
