NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular meeting of the Wisconsin Associationfor Legal Professionals will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Cambria Suites, 3940N. Gateway Dr., Appleton, Wisconsin, 54913.

A hot breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, American fries, chicken apple sausage, thick-cut peppered bacon, steel-cut oats with vanilla cream, bagels and cream cheese, assorted muffins, chilled juice and coffee will be provided in the breakfast buffet area. This breakfast is included in the price of your registration.

The cost for the breakfast, meeting, and lunch (including tax and tip) is $25.00. A lunch buffet will consist of a variety of meats and cheeses served with sandwich bread and croissants, chips, coleslaw, and pickles. Milk, water, and dessert are also included. The cost for the education and/or meeting only (without lunch) is $10.00. The cost for a luncheon guest is $15.00. Canceled reservations will be charged for the luncheon, if the association is charged.

Anyone attending the meeting must be registered.

TO ALL OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE CHAIRS:

If you will be submitting a written report for the member meeting, please provide Sonja Schade, WALP Secretary, with forty (40) copies of your report by Friday, February 26, 2010,in order that all reports may be assembled for distribution at registration on Saturday morning. This will ensure that all officers and committee chairmenreceive a copy of all reports prior to the meeting or by mailing after the meeting.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Executive Committee will meet on Friday, February 26, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room. All WALP members are welcome to attend.

Members: All motions to be presented at the Board Meeting must be in written form and given to WALP President Beth Koerber, PP, PLS, and WALP Secretary Sonja Schade. This will help alleviate any confusion and/or misinterpretation of motions presented to the membership. Time will be allocated for this purpose.

Note: There are only 16 double rooms on site, so please book early if you would like to reserve one of these. Each member is responsible for making their own hotel room reservation. Please reference WALPor the Wisconsin Association for Legal Professionalswhen making reservations.

Mini-Mart

Any chapter wishing to participate in the “mini-mart” at the meeting should send a check for $5.00payable to WALP, to the attention of Katy Mathes, PLS, CPS, by February 12, 2010, so sufficient table space can be arranged.

Directions

The hotel is located just off of Highway 41 on the northeast side of Appleton. Take the Ballard Rd. exit (Exit 144, a/k/a County Rd. E) to the north. At the stoplight at the intersection with Evergreen Drive, turn right. Turn right again onto Gateway Drive (just past the ShopKo Express store), and the driveway for the Cambria Suites will be on your left.
