SCI Graterford Reports Inmate Death
Graterford, PA – Cynthia Link, Superintendent of the State Correctional Institution at Graterford, reported that inmate Patrick Henry, KL-2360, was found unresponsive in his cell at approximately 11:48 AM on November 21.
Prison staff immediately responded and provided life-saving measures until facility medical personnel arrived. A facility physician pronounced Henry dead at 12:00 PM
As is the case with all inmate deaths, the institution notified the Pennsylvania State Police, which will conduct an investigation. The official cause of death will be determined by the Montgomery County coroner.
Henry was serving a 7-to-14-year sentence at Graterford on an arson conviction in Lawrence County.
The inmate’s next-of-kin has been notified.
