Enable America JobSeekers Workshop for Wounded Warriors & Disabled Veterans to be held August 24, 2012, at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro,NC.This workshop is in partnership with the NC National Guard and the Hire our Heroes Hiring Fair. The EnableAmerica Job Seekers Workshop is designed to provide helpful instruction,tips, and job coaching from volunteer human resource professionals at NorthCarolina employers. Business panelists for this workshop represent Eaton Corporation, SAS, LabCorp, and Career Pro Inc. In addition to learning how to conduct a successful job search, each attendee will receive one-on-one job coaching. 2012 Bull City Stand Down, Friday, September 14 8 am- 3 pm. Durham County Memorial Stadium, 750 Stadium Dr., Durham (across from the National Guard Armory). They will be providing food, clothing, basic medical and legal assistance and other health and human services to homeless veterans or others in need.

2nd Annual Gratitude Walk in Observation of Suicide Prevention Month Hosted by the North Carolina National Guard Saturday, September 22nd from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the North Carolina National Guard Military Centre, located at 1636
Gold Star Drive Raleigh, NC 27607.
The walk will be 3 miles long and will begin and end at the National Guard Military center.
