INVITATION TO BIDDERS

The Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation Ltd (KSPHC), a company of the Government of Karnataka, is committed to build Police Buildings innovatively to enhance police efficiency and thereby improve Police-Community Relations. KSPHC is undertaking various construction activities (residential and non-residential buildings), mainly for the Police, KSRP, Fire & Emergency Services, Forest, Prison and various other Departments.

KSPHCinvites Reputed Structural Engineers/Consultantsfor Providing Structural Consultancy Services for the Proposed work of Construction of PoliceTraining School (PTS) under 13th Finance Commission Scheme at the following locations:

i) Kadur in Chikkamagalur Dist

ii) CAR (North) BangaloreCity and

iii)Hubli-DharwadCity

1.0Scope of Service : Structural Drawings

Structural Drawings:

1.1Detailed structural plan, elevation, cross section and details of footings, reinforcement

details with clear dimensions.

1.2 Detailed structural plan of lintel, chejja, roof beams & roof slabs showing L section and

cross sections reinforcement details at support and mid span with clear dimensions &

elevations.

1.3 Detailed structural drawing of staircase showing waist slab and landing thickness &

reinforcement.

1.4 Detailed joint drawings for beam, column connections, beam & beam connections

showing clear dimensions & reinforcement details.

1.5 Any other structural details required for Construction.

1.6 All the drawings related to the services as outlined in the preamble including all the

requirements as deemed necessary shall be developed and submitted in both hard & soft

copy to the KSPHC for scrutiny.

1.7 Necessary discussions at this stage shall be conducted with the client and KSPHC, you

shall attend the meeting/discussion whenever KSPHC so desires, as necessary for

successful completion of the work

1.8 Three nos. (03) of hard copies & one set of soft copies for all structural drawings & other supporting documents are to be furnished

2.0 Pre-qualification Criteria :

The Consultantshould:

1. be Registered Structural Engineers/Consultants in State PWD's/CPWD/ MES/Govt. Undertakings.
2. be Registered with KSPHC
3. having successfully completed the Structural Consultancy for One building work costing not lessthan ` 25.00 Crores during the past 5 years. Certificate regarding this requirement is to be furnished.

1. Shall have a Annual Turn over of ` 50.00 lakhsin any one year during the past 5 years
2. Shall have key Technical Staffs (Senior Structural Engineer/Geo Technique Experts – 3 Nos, Structural Engineers – 5 Nos)

3.0 Calendar of events :

Interested Structural Engineers /Consultantsmay submit their Applicationsalong with the non-refundable tendering charges of `5,250/-for each location separately through a DD drawn in favour of MD, KSPHC, Bangalore & documents in support of Pre-qualification criteria prescribed above.
