A PART REFUND IS GIVEN IF THE CASTLE CANNOT BE USED, DUE TO ANY BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS ON THE DAY OF HIRE

(Refund amount = Cost of Castle Hire minus $30 deposit value)

Hire service excludes , delivery, setting up and collection of the inflatable Castle.

Hire service includes Castle, electric fan, packing straps and crash pad if required.

Conditions of Hire

The Hirer hires the equipment for the day and the rate specified overleaf according to the following terms and conditions.

The Hirer:

1.  Shall upon booking pay a deposit to secure your choice, your castle MUST be paid for in full before you take it. DO NOT under any circumstances get the castle and equipment wet. If the weather is too bad on the day of hire DO NOT use the castle at all and we will refund the cost of the hire minus a $30 deposit value, as of 1 April 2006. A refund is given once Video Tech Staff have checked that the castle has not been used, a cheque will be posted out in the name of the person who made the booking. Please note: we do not keep cash on site so cash cannot be refunded.

2.  Shall forfeit his / her deposit if the booking is cancelled by the Hirer less than 2 weeks prior to the date of booking. Excluding weather cancellations.

  1. Hereby accepts responsibility for the loss of or damage to property and injury to any person/s resulting from the use of or operation of the equipment and hereby indemnifies Video Tech Ltd against any claims which may be made against it by any person. The castle is NOT to be left at Video Tech after hours unattended. Loss of Castle WILL result in the hirer paying replacement costs.
  1. Hereby accepts full responsibility for the full replacement costs in the event of theft or damage to the equipment between the time of collection and return and shall pay the same upon demand.
  1. Hereby accepts responsibility for the use of the equipment, ensuring:

·  The equipment stands on a flat lawned surface, but if the hirer is setting up a castle on a hard surface, please provide a ground cover. Video Tech Ltd can provide Crash Mats on request.

·  The equipment is operated by and under the strict supervision of a responsible adult.

·  No children over the age of 12 are to play on the equipment.

·  No child plays near the fan or on the equipment with shoes, sharp objects, water or food.

·  The fan is not to be left unattended in the rain, or operated in high wind conditions, and the hirer shall ensure these terms are complied with, whether or not they are the user or operator of the equipment.

·  Standard 3 pin plug power supply available within extension cord reach. An RCD unit must be used. We now have these attached to the blower for your convenience.

·  No silly string. Under no circumstances is silly string allowed to be used within or on the castle. Beware of face paint, it stains the castle, if you use face paint, please wipe the castle clean before returning it to us.

6.  Accepts that he / she are liable for all legal costs in the event of Video Tech Ltd being required to institute action for recovery of the equipment. The value of replacement of the equipment or for collection of charges, and the Hirer acknowledges that they shall be liable for interest on those amounts.

  1. Hirer acknowledges that Video Tech Ltd has offered the equipment in proper working order fit for use as intended by the Hirer as from the time of collection of equipment.
  1. Agrees to follow any verbal instructions given at the time of collecting the equipment.

9.  DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GET THE CASTLE AND EQUIPMENT WET

Please remember for WEEKEND HIRES your castle(s) will need to be picked up before 5pm Friday and returned am Monday unless otherwise organised with Video Tech staff.

The Castles are a one day hire only, they must be collected before 5PM on the Friday and delivered back early Monday morning or agree with any other arrangements made by Video Tech and the hirer.
