SCHOLARSHIP
The following criteria and guidelines will be applied in the awarding of the Booster Club Scholarship.
Scholarships will be awarded annually to one or more graduates of the Crawford County R-3 District in Steelville, Missouri by the Steelville Athletic Booster Club.
- Each Scholarship will be awarded in the amount up to $500.00.
- Class Rank – Rank in the upper one-third of the class with a GPA of 8.9/11.0 or above.
- Accepted for admission to a college or university for the upcoming school year.
- Must letter in two varsity sports during the senior year. Number of varsity letters may help determine nominee.
- ACT score must be a 17 or higher.
- Consideration will be given to graduates whose family has been actively involved in the Booster Club.
- The scholarship monies will be given to the recipients immediately prior to beginning their post-high school education program. At the request of the recipient, the monies would be paid directly to them or their college.
A Booster Club Scholarship Committee appointed by the President will choose one or more eligible seniors.
Applications will be distributed by the Steelville High School Counselor. The scholarship applications should be returned to the counselor by April 15.
