Main Purpose of Post
To assist Event Controller and liaise with the security stewards to ensure safety.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1 / Assist Event Controller in the checking of the site
2 / Assist Event Controller in erection of signs
3 / Help stewards to erect/dismantle barriers as required
4 / Assist Event Controller/Senior Duty Officer when required
5 / Work with security on controlling the flow over the bridge to lovers walk when required.
6 / Assist with safe viewing around the bandstand area
7 / Help with crowd control on firework nights
8 / Make Event Controller/Emergency Planning aware of any problems arising
9 / Undertake any other reasonable tasks as instructed by the Event Controller/Senior Duty Officer
