Hierarchy drafted by Christian

/ Confusion regarding levels – e.g. Institution, School, Division & Department. It seems as though we are in need of an additional level. Institution and Department must stay the same. School and Division fields can be changed. / The draft needs to be retooled.

/ Are there different hierarchies for different areas/sections of Colleague? / Yes
Student Levels / How does Colleague handle student levels (U/GR)? Is it part of the major or calculated based on credits? / Mike Gibbons forwarded Christine from DATATELs contact information to Christian.
Looked at BIO form / Name fields that are used now – how to match up with Colleague fields.
Prefix / Will we use? Yes. Others will be added as needed. For government forms, no prefix should be used per Betty DeMatteo. Only given name and suffix. / To begin with we will use DR/SR/MR/MRS/MISS/MS/FR/REV/ATTY
Nickname / Wendy Brenzel suggests that Nickname be re-labeled as Regulatory Name. / Mike Gibbons asks Betty DeMatteo to email Wendy what fields pull to W-2.

/ Change Name LFM to Legal LFM.

Suffix

/ Discussed letters denoting academic or medical achievement. / The only suffixes to be used are Jr., Sr., II, III and IV.
Preferred Name / FML + whatever. / A person can use whatever here. E.g. – Margaret Smith = Peggy Smith.
Nickname / Needed or not? / Mask off form.
Birth Name / Self-explanatory.
