This is a senior level position that directly reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Overview

Beth Sholom Village is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We are a community comprised of a Skilled Nursing Facility with 120-beds that include a rehabilitation unit, and long term care units as well as an Assisted Living Facility with 78-beds that include a memory unit. Our facility is currently undergoing renovations to modernize not only our look, but also our equipment and resources.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years’ relevant experience; or equivalent work experience. The ideal candidate will be creative and consistent, possess effective leadership skills, organized and excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred candidates will be passionate with experience in non-profit fundraising.

Responsibilities

Maintain and grow communityengagement and participation in fundraising efforts by individuals, corporations, foundations, grants, etc. Design, implement, and manage all fundraising events. Track, develop, strategize the best means to prepare applications and/or proposals for grants, and be familiar with the cycle process. Working successfully with our internal team and cultivating external relationships that will benefit the organization are of the utmost importance to this position.
