CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIP

TYPE OF AWARD: / Financial assistance to any university, college, technical trade or any accredited school.
AWARD BASIS: / Scholastic achievement, character and participation in extracurricular activities.
WHO MAY APPLY: / Any senior graduating in June of current year who:
  • Lives in the state of Michigan graduating from a high school in the state of Michigan.
  • Has a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better on a 4-point scale in a college preparatory curriculum.
  • Plans to attend an accredited school.
  • Has been active within school, community, church or other volunteer organizations.

HOW TO APPLY: /
  • A completed legible, printed/typewritten application. Applications that can’t be read will be disqualified.
  • A 200-300 word essay, error free.
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation-one must be from the high school counselor or principal on official school letterhead (relatives excluded).
  • An official High School transcript: Transcript of the first semester with application and final transcript must be postmarked no later than July 10thof current year with GPA seal and signed by principal/counselor.
