More than I am
Head Girl & Head Boy ReportThis week has been a great first week back. Key Stage 2 learnt the importance of staying safe and learnt Childline’s number. Years 5 and 6 had a workshop to learn more about staying safe. We also had a great senses test and learnt the 6th sense-Faith and trusting in God to lead our lives.
Very Best Wishes

Mrs Rowley-Sadly, it was Mrs Rowley’s last day with us today. She is moving on to pastures new to work for the ministry of defence. She has been with our school family for 14 years and will be missed. Our leaving assembly this afternoon highlighted all the various fantastic things that Mrs Rowley has done whilst working here. We wish you all the very best Mrs Rowley – please come back to see how we are getting on once in a while.
Parent Governor Vqacancy – We have a vacancy for a parent governor. Application forms have been sent home with your child. Please consider if you would like to be part of how the school is run and managed. There are two meetings per term to attend. Your opinions matter. Come and join in having your say. The forms give all the information you need to know to get involved. If you’d like to know a bit more of what is involved please give me a ring or come and see me. Alternatively, Mr Darren Bagley (Y2 & Y4 parent) could give you the heads up as to what is involved.
School Council Meeting- The next school council meeting will be on Tuesday 17th January from 3:20 - 4:15 pm in Mrs Panther's classroom.
Rescheduled DATE FOR YOUR DIARY
NSPCC Online Safety Parent and Carer Information Workshop
Thursday 2nd February 2017 2:00pm
We are really pleased to offer a session, from the NSPCC, which will be all about increasing parent and carer confidence, competence and responsibility in keeping your child safe online.
The session will last for approximately 50 minutes to an hour and you will be able to pick up your children from school when it finishes.
For those of you, who have pre-school children, who may need some entertaining we will be offering a play session for them during the workshop.
Please come and join us and see what the latest up to date information is from the NSPCC and what their specialists have to say about keeping children safe online.
We are working hard to educate your children about the issues in school, but support from you at home is vital to make the education effective.
We look forward to seeing you there.
