Following eight plus years practicing law in the areas of trusts, estates and tax related matters, most recently with the Wilmington, Delaware, firm of Potter, Anderson & Corroon, Mr. Ciccarone joined Brandywine Trust Company in the fall of 2002. At Brandywine, Mr. Ciccarone oversees all facets of client tax, structural and investment planning, as well as the coordination thereof with outside advisors, including counsel, tax preparers and investment professionals. Mr. Ciccarone is a member of Brandywine's Trust Committee, which has primary responsibility for the fiduciary administration of and top level asset allocation for Brandywine's trust and custodial accounts.
Mr. Ciccarone holds an L.L.M. in Taxation from Villanova University, J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Widener University, and a B.S.B.A. from the University of Delaware. Mr. Ciccarone is admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a member of the Estates & Trusts Section (Chairperson 2002-2003) and Tax Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
Mr. Ciccarone resides in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Carolyn, and their two children, Emily and Michael.
