We invite you to play a key role in our success!

The Oregon International Airshow will be held in Hillsboro on July 26-28, 2013. Gates will open at 6 pm for the Friday Night Show which will feature excellent night acts, pyrotechnics and fireworks! Saturday and Sunday will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and many more exciting Air Show performers with gates opening at 9:00 am. View all the Air Show activities and performers at

We are excited to be able to once again offer Non-profit groups the opportunity to serve on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. We have reserved food booths and other key areas of responsibility for you. All food and equipment will be supplied by our concessionaire: Non-profit groups will only need to supply the manpower to run the booths/areas. The Oregon International Air Show will make a cash donation (contingent on the Air Show making a profit) each day worked by the non-profit group if all terms of the agreement are met by the non-profit group. Please review the guidelines below and complete the attached form if you would like to apply for one of the food booths or other designated volunteer area.

Application deadline is June 1, 2013 and selections will be made shortly thereafter. Selection is at the discretion of the Air Show.

Benefits:

  1. Group may display banners, etc., and wear their organization’s T-shirts. Please note: Air Show volunteer T-shirts will not be supplied to non-profit groups.
  2. Each volunteer will receive a wristband, parking pass, one meal plus breakfast on Saturday and Sunday in the Volunteer Food Tent, complimentary soft drinks, and complimentary water (unlimited) for the day worked. Maximum #of workers allowed for each booth will be 10.
  3. The Air Show will give a $150 donation on Friday and a $200 donation on Saturday or Sunday to the group for each day worked. The donation will be made within 90 days after the Air Show.

Please review the guidelines below and complete the attached form if you would like to apply for one of these booths or volunteer areas designated for non-profit groups. Application deadline is June 15, 2012 and selection will be made shortly thereafter. Selection is at the discretion of the Air Show

Non-profit Group Guidelines:

  1. Group must be licensed as a Non-profit organization or be affiliated with a non profit organization.
  2. Duties will include food booths, parking lot monitoring, inflatables, or set up/tear down duties.
  3. Food Booth menus will be hot dogs, sausage or hamburgers, chips & beverages. Booth and other key assignments will be done by Air Show management.

4. Food Booth Groups must provide 10 volunteers for the day worked. Inflatables must provide 14.

Friday hours are 5pm – 10:30pm; Saturday hours 8am – 5pm; Sunday hours 8am – 5pm.

5. Groups may apply for one day or every day of the Airshow.

6. Volunteers must be 16 or older to work in the food booths. There must be at least four adults in the booth

at all times.

  1. Each volunteer in the group must register online at by 7/1/2013.
  2. Group must provide a Captain and a Cash Manager for their booth. The Captain and Cash Manager must

be adults and will be required to attend the volunteer training session. Any shortage in the booth at the

end of the day will be your responsibility.

9. We recommend two volunteers with a Food Handler card and there must be someone with a Food

permit in the Booth at all times.

  1. Air Show will provide training to all volunteers, including Captain and Cash Manager.

The following will be considered when selecting Non-profit groups:

  1. Washington County Non-profit groups will have priority
  2. Previous commitment to Air Show
  3. Ability to provide volunteers for multiple days.
  4. Date application is received.
  5. Experience in working or serving food at special events.
