Math and Science
Homework
· Homework is a nightly requirement in order to make sure that the content being taught is understood by each student.
· Your child will receive a Math worksheet Monday through Thursday that relates to what we have been going over in class. The assignments are due daily.
· Along with the nightly homework, it would be very beneficial to your child if they studied their addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. Having these facts memorized will help when trying to complete word problems, which will consist of multiple steps.
· Science homework will be given as needed. It will not be a nightly assignment.
Take-Home Folders
· Take-Home folders will be sent home daily. The folder will contain the daily Dojo behavior chart, graded work, notices of upcoming events, and notes from the teacher. Please sign the Dojo behavior chart daily and review graded work with your child. Please keep all graded work. If an assignment needs a parent signature, please sign and return it to me the following day.
Planners
· Students will record their homework assignments daily. Planners will go home every day. I will personally initial each and every planner to make sure the homework has been recorded.
