Deloris - (Age Range: 20-35)
She is a loud brash character with great comedic timing, excellent singing voice and good movement required. Personality needs to be HUGE, sass required, channel your inner diva. Alto/Mezzo (vocal range E3 (below middle C)- F#5)

Sister Mary Robert (Age Range: 20-26)
A young, innocent postulant, shy and quiet until Deloris brings out the best in her. Excellent vocals and good movement required. Mezzo/Soprano with belt – vocal range from F#3 (below middle C) – A5.

Mother Superior – (Age Range: 50-70)
Firm but fair nun, very dignified and ladylike. Good vocals and minimal movement required. Alto (vocal range D3-E5)

Sister Mary Patrick (Age Range: 30-45)
A fun and enthusiastic nun, LARGER THAN LIFE character, known for enjoying every minute and, more importantly, LOVES food! Excellent vocals and good movement required. Soprano (vocal range G3-E6)

Sister Mary Lazarus – (Age Range: 70-90)
An older, crabby choir mistress, snappy and seemingly grumpy. Has to rap, seriously, spit some old lady rhymes, and move quite well. Alto (vocal range F3 – B4)

Michelle & Tina – (Age Range: 20-30)
Backing vocalists in Curtis’ club. Excellent vocals and movement required. Mezzo sopranos (vocal ranges Ab3 – F5)

A friendly, good natured man. Always bright and positive.

Curtis (Age Range: 25-45)
Gangster club owner who is very smooth and calculating. Good vocals and minimal movement required. High baritone (vocal range A2-Ab4)

Eddie – (Age Range: 20 – 35)
He is a sweet nervous policeman who dreams of being confident and brave. Good vocals and movement are required. Tenor (vocal range Ab2 – B4)

TJ – (20-25)
The youngest of Curtis’ henchmen and his nephew. Naïve, immature, and somewhat dumb.

Joey – (30-40)
Head of Curtis’ henchmen. Thinks he is suave, cool, and super popular with the ladies…key word is “thinks”.

A quiet and fiery Spanish gangster. Toughest of the three and also smooth with the ladies.
