MIDTERM STUDY GUIDE – SPANISH II 2016

The midterm exam will be counted as 2 test grades. The first test grade consists of 21 true/false questions and 67 multiple-choice questions. The second test grade is a combination of 3 sections. Section 1 is a writing section. You will choose 10 out of 16 short answer questions to answer in Spanish and 1 out of 3 essays to complete in Spanish. Each essay has several parts to it. You will have to complete all parts in detail. Section 2 is a reading section. You will read two selections and then answer questions. Section 3 is a listening section.

The following objectives from this semester will be covered on the exam:

Unit 6A – Cosas en mi dormitorio

·  GRAMMAR: the present progressive (estar + present participle)

Unit 7A – la ropa

·  VOCABULARY: To talk about clothing

·  VOCABULARY: To talk about shopping

·  VOCABULARY: To discuss how much clothes cost

·  VOCABULARY: To talk about prices

·  VOCABULARY: To ask and tell what you or others plan to do
